Sony has confirmed with the chaps at Polygon at the San Diego Comic-Con this week that PlayStation 4 will support its predecessor?s range of wireless headsets.
By comparison, PS4?s leading rival Xbox One will not offer support for Xbox 360 headsets as a result of a new headset adapter port.
Sony?s next-generation console will also ship with its own mono headset in earbud form out of the box, alongside the usual bits and bobs such as a DualShock 4 controller, power cable, USB adapter and HDMI cable.
The basic PS4 package will set you back $399/?349 this holiday season, though there are bound to be various bundles on offer, too. Launch titles include Killzone: Shadow Fall, Knack, Assassin?s Creed IV: Black Flag and DriveClub among others.
Sony recently teased that we can expect some PS4-related goodies to drop at Gamescom next month. Stay tuned to PSU.com for more details.
