Provide efficient and effective mental health intervention that meets community needs and in accordance with relevant legislation, National Mental Health Standards, organisational policies and procedures and professional standards of practice.
Selection Criteria:
- Must hold a recognised degree in relevant profession (Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology or Nursing) which provides eligibility or membership of the relevant professional association/full registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Knowledge and experience in mental health practice in a range of clinical settings.
- Understanding of and commitment to contemporary mental health service delivery principles, including case management, shared care models of practice and consumer/carer focused intervention.
- Knowledge of legislation and policies relating to Mental Health Services, including the Mental Health Act 2007.
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective consultation to GPs, NGOs and other service providers.
- Knowledge, skills and experience in the use of computers.
- Current Driver?s License (NSW eligibility).
