In today?s generation mobile technology is growing very fast and there are of changes taking place every day. We have lot of choices to select the better transmission system that s more reliable and one of them is CDMA that can access multiple channels. CDMA is a new digital wireless transmission technology form of spread spectrum and it was launched in early nineties.CDMA first converts our voice in the digital form and then send to the user using radio wave. The frequency for the CDMA is not defined and many times lots of users has to use the same frequencywithout interference and the receiving device is design to use the data out of received signal.

History:- The first cell phone were introduced in 1980?s and has? the AMPS(Advanced Mobile Phone System). In last few years mobile phones technology has grown very fast. Many mobiles use CDMA for better division of code. Phone is called cellular because it divides the area into small cells and each cell is assigned a frequency.

CDMA are better than GSM as it produce very less interference then GSM and they emit very low radiation which harmful for human mind.

Basis of CDMA:-for the transmission of data they spectrum technology that occupies a bandwidth in excess of the minimum bandwidth to send information.In CDMA more than one user can access the single channel without creating any problem.

Pros and cons:-it used less power and the transmission rate is very good and it does not allow the network to create the traffic. It also improves voice quality and eliminates external interference. Also provides reliable transport mechanism for data communication.?

Mexico's Ferrari urges U.S. not to tear up tomato pact

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Commerce Department should renegotiate a 16-year-old tomato trade agreement with Mexico rather than give in to election-year demands from Florida growers to tear up the pact, Mexico's Economy Minister Bruno Ferrari said on Monday.

Under the agreement, Washington suspended anti-dumping action against Mexico in 1996 and negotiated a minimum price at which Mexican tomatoes can be sold in the United States.

Florida tomato growers complain the agreement fails to protect them against Mexican tomatoes sold below the cost of production. Ditching the agreement would allow Florida producers to file a new anti-dumping complaint. That alarms Mexican growers, who prefer the stability of the pact.

"We believe the suspension agreement has worked well for 16 years. It has been good for the industries and for U.S. consumers as well," Ferrari told Reuters in an interview.

Preserving the tomato agreement is important for Mexico, which currently exports close to $1.9 billion worth of tomatoes to the United States, Ferrari said

It is "obvious" the Florida Tomato Exchange timed its request to put political pressure on the White House ahead of the November 6 presidential election, he said.

If the United States makes a hasty decision, instead of conducting a standard 270-day review, "Mexico will use all our legal means to defend our producers," Ferrari said.

Florida is one of several "battleground" states expected to determine the outcome of the U.S. presidential election.

A number of Florida politicians up for re-election, including Senator Bill Nelson, Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz and 15 other members of the state's congressional delegation, have sent letters pressing senior Commerce Department officials to quickly terminate the agreement.

Ferrari said the Commerce Department should take Mexico growers up on their offer to renegotiate the pact.

This "would have the least impact on trade between the two countries and also on U.S. consumers," Ferrari said. "You have to keep in consideration that one of every two tomatoes that people consume here comes from Mexico."

Lawyers for the Mexico industry argue the department can't terminate the review without first determining Florida growers have the support of at least 85 percent of the U.S. tomato industry and without conducting a 270-day review.

Since much of Mexico's produce is imported into the United States through Nogales, Arizona, a number of that state's politicians have weighed in on Mexico's side.

Senators John McCain and Jon Kyl and other Arizona lawmakers sent a letter last week to Acting U.S. Commerce Secretary Rebecca Blank stressing that "any rush to prematurely decide this issue before the November elections should be avoided."

The Florida group says it has the support of at least 90 percent of the U.S. industry based on official U.S. Agriculture Department production, but Ferrari said he doubts that claim.

"As a matter of fact, I don't believe they even have half of the support of the industry," Ferrari said.

LG Optimus Vu II specs leak out: twice the RAM of the original, few other changes

Having put the phat back in phablet with its original 4:3 aspect ratio, 5-inch Optimus Vu, LG seems bent on releasing a successor already, the Optimus Vu II, according to a leak from Korean blog Bad IT Tong. The new Galaxy Note II challenger would carry the same form factor and 1,024 x 768 IPS screen as the current Vu model, while doubling the RAM to 2GB, bumping the Qualcomm processor to an 8960 1.5GHz dual-core model (not the international quad-core version) and keeping the LTE radio from its US Intuition variant. It would come out of the box with Android 4.0, an 8-megapixel rear shooter, up to 32GB of microSD storage and a 2,150 mAh battery, judging by the leaked image above -- all specs we've seen before. There's no word yet on US pricing, availability, a stylus or an intriguing universal remote app teased by LG, but recent purchasers of the original Optimus Vu might be feeling left in a technology wake.

OTTAWA ? Canada?s housing market appears to be cooling across the board in the face of tighter mortgage rules that affect many first-time buyers of modest means, a new analysis from the Conference Board shows.

The think-tank?s snapshot of resales for August shows a widespread decline in sales of existing homes, with 21 of 28 metropolitan markets registering a drop from July, and 16 of the markets showing a falloff of five per cent or more.

As well, listings fell in 17 of the 28 markets, an indication that owners were reluctant to place their homes for sale due to soft conditions.

Senior economist Robin Wiebe of the Conference Board said there was evidence of cooling in some markets ? particularly Vancouver and Victoria ? before the new rules went into effect July 9. But the new data shows the slowdown has spread to most markets and from coast to coast.

?When you see sales down in three-quarters of the market, that means it?s pretty widespread,? he said. ?It?s knocked down previously high-flying markets like Regina and Saskatoon down a peg. Vancouver had been showing signs of cooling, now it?s spread out into the Fraser Valley.?

At the time Finance Minister Jim Flaherty announced maximum amortization period for mortgage would be reduced to 25 years from 30 years, the government estimated it would increase monthly payments by $184 on a $350,000 mortgage.

It had been the fourth time Flaherty tightened mortgage requirements in four years, but the July measure was regarded as the one likely to be the most effective.

While sales and prices were only temporarily sidetracked by the previous announcements, only to recover a few months later, this might ?be the one that broke the camel?s back,? said Wiebe.

Last week, the Canadian Real Estate Association reported that sales of existing homes fell 5.8% in August from July, and were down 8.9 per cent from August 2011.

Still, the latest data shows that while sales and listings are down, prices appear to be holding steady.

The report found prices fell in only nine of the 28 markets in August from the previous month. Compared to last August, prices were up in 25 markets.

Economists have generally been forecasting a correction of between 10 and 25% in prices over the next two or three years. Vancouver, which had for years been Canada?s hottest market, has seen a tumble of about 30% in resale homes.

But Wiebe is not so sure the correction will be as severe as many predict, or that Vancouver?s market is as cold as the numbers suggest.

He notes that Vancouver?s average home prices are skewed by the number of high-end property sold ? many to investors from China. Both the meteoric rise and current decline are ?overstated,? he said.

Homes in the Toronto area, Canada?s largest market, are also likely to retain their value, he said, because the economy in the city remains healthy and the greater metropolitan area continues to experience strong population growth.

NFL Blogger Debate: 5 Questions

Fanspeak.com was created by Steve and Megan Shoup, a brother and sister who are fanatical sports fans. They decided to take their fate into their own hands and start a business venture revolving around their passion. They asked me to join in on their Weekly Blogger Debate, debating the top five sports questions.
